Taekwon-Do is a great way to improve your strength, co-ordination and flexibility - all whilst improving your fitness and stamina levels. At F.A.S, we incorporate all these elements of training into our classes to help students improve their martial arts skills alongside becoming stronger, more supple and fitter.
Our martial arts classes are designed to help you build confidence both inside and outside of the dojang (Training Hall). We focus on discipline, respect, and mental toughness to help you overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.
Taekwon-Do is a great martial art to help students feel more confident and learn practical ways to improve their self-defense skills. We teach practical techniques that can be used in real-world situations for both Adults and Children focusing on situational awareness, and physical self-defense to help our students stay safe.
T-UK, our governing body hold regular tournaments and we encourage all students to participate. Our classes incorporate regular training sessions for sparring, patterns and destruction (board breaking). Our instructors have years of experience competing at the regional and national levels, along with training with the ITF England squad and will help you prepare for your next competition and help achieve your competitive goals.
Aimed at ages 6 - 12 years old, our kids classes are designed to teach children the fundamentals of martial arts in a fun and supportive environment. We focus on building confidence, discipline, and respect while teaching basic techniques and conditioning. Students are encouraged to complete regular grading sessions and receive new belts as they progress through the Kups (Grades) towards Black Belt.
Designed for ages 13 and over, our Teens and Adults classes cater for both beginners and developing students in a welcoming and supportive environment. These classes will help students to develop a greater understanding of Taekwon-Do principles and techniques - all whilst improving their physical and mental well-being. As with the Juniors, students are encouraged to complete regular grading events to progress through the ranks towards Black Belt.
